Verbier

Gateway to the “4 Vallées” skiing hub

Verbier is an alpine village in the Swiss canton of Valais. Its trails of the Mont-Fort glacier offer a view of the Matterhorn and Mont-Blanc. Mount Gelé is known for its off-piste ski runs. To the south, in the isolated nature reserve of the Haut Val de Bagnes, waterfalls cascade into the Mauvoisin lake, site of the arch dam of the same name.

Increasingly well known for it luxury hotels and après ski scene, Verbier is a pretty snow friendly resort due to its altitude, with ski areas up to an amazing 3,300m, you will see resort openings as early as November. With its extreme mountain faces and off piste runs all over resort, it’s no wonder Verbier plays host to big skiing and snowboarding competitions such as the FreeRide World Tour.
